I was sent Pet Sculptures of my pugs from Arty Lobster. All opinions are my own.
Back around Christmas, I partnered with Arty Lobster on my other blog, to review their custom pet sculptures. You send in 5 to 10 photos of your pet, and Arty Lobster will use a 3D printer to create a 3D sculpture of your pet. When looking for products that are pug-related, they tend to feature very “perfect” looking, young pugs. Frank and Beans came home when they were 8 and 9 years old, so they were far from young. When I see stereotypical shirts or art with pugs in them, they just don’t really remind me much of Frank and Beans. I like their gray faces, their chubby bellies, all of their ‘imperfections’. I love how our Arty Lobster sculptures captured them so perfectly!
After you send in your photos, the designers will send you a preview of the sculpture before it prints. That way, if you see anything that you would like adjusted, they can adjust it before your sculpture is formed. When ordering you can share personal requests or information. For example, if you want your pet to be shown wearing their collar, but only 7 of the 10 photos have the collar, you can just mention to please include the collar that is in some of the photos. I made a request that both of my dogs be made standing up instead of sitting down.
Becuase each piece is custom-made, this is a great way to create a pet memorial that truly is a replica of your pet. It’s also great for pet owners who have “mutts” or mixed-breed dogs which would be nearly impossible to find represented in most store-purchased products. Arty Lobster makes sculptures for horses in addition to dogs!
