One of the games I love to play on my iPad is Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. I’ve gotten an update to latest version error on pocket camp many times in the few months that I have played the game. I get stuck in a loop between being told to check store, and then once in the store, it tells me the app recently updated and it does not show any update as available. I just loop between the two, seemingly … Read the rest
I’m roughly the same age as the girls on Teen Mom OG. I’ve watched the show since about season two, I think? At 26, I’m mildly embarrassed to still be watching the show, especially because almost all other MTV shows feel so childish to me now…but oh well.
I’ve noticed the last season or so that Catelynn and Tyler are getting a lot more ‘hate’ from people online. For a long time they were viewed as one of the more … Read the rest

I watch a handful of reality TV shows. All reality TV shows seem to have a certain amount of hate-followers. It feels t me that the disgust for Sister Wives is more common than the other shows I watch. The most common complaint I see is that the husband is ‘creepy’. I’ve never found him creepy. He’s certainly quirky, and I’ve definitely cringed a time or two. The worst by far was … Read the rest

I wouldn’t call myself a gamer. I grew up with SNES even though it was the late 90’s and early 00’s when I played. In middle school I liked play SIMS and puzzle type games on Yahoo Games. I still like app games, and my boyfriend reminds me that they ‘aren’t real games’ because there is no real strategy involved. He grew up with video games being a really significant and important part … Read the rest
I sometimes get compensated for working with brands through Amazon gift cards. As a result, I do a lot of shopping on Amazon. I’ve been an Amazon Prime member since around 2011 I believe. The convenience of having items delivered to my home in 2-3 days from the time of order is just so convenient.
I like feeling like I’m saving money though, and it can be tough to save money on Amazon as they rarely offer coupons. When they … Read the rest
I’ve always been drawn to memoirs. I find myself better able to understand others when I can try to see things from their point of view. Reading a general text book about history has never been as impactful as reading an individual account of someone who survived that period of history. I guess it’s just how my mind works.
If you’re like me and enjoy learning about other people and their struggles and successes through first-hand accounts, YouTube can be … Read the rest
I like how Amazon has been offering sample boxes to Prime members. You have to pay for the box upfront, but you get a credit on your account for the price of the box. I purchased a dog food and treats sample box in the past, and this new one was simply called dog treat sample box, though it included some food as well. The box costs $11.99 and in return you’ll get a $11.99 credit to spend on pet … Read the rest
I grew up on country music. As an adolescent I steered towards rock and emo. Then a few years ago I found myself on a new path. It started with a desire to listen to some old country songs. I started off on Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson, and discovered John Prine, Kasey Musgraves, Jason Isbell and others. Over the months and years I’ve continued to evolve from there. So, I’m not saying this music is all similar (it’s not) … Read the rest
